In short

We collect only what you send us through the enquiry form or by email. We use it to reply to you and to assess a possible distribution partnership. We do not sell it, do not use it for advertising, and do not set tracking cookies.

01Who we are

This website is operated by (“SERIKA”, “we”, “us”), a company registered in under company number , with its registered office at .

For the purposes of the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the Irish Data Protection Acts 1988 to 2018, we are the controller of the personal data described in this policy. We have not appointed a Data Protection Officer because the law does not require one for our activities. You can reach us about privacy at the address in section 11.

02What we collect

When you send an enquiry through the form, we receive:

  • your name, company or brand name, work email address and, if you give it, your website;
  • the type of enquiry you select, target market, product category, revenue band and target launch period;
  • anything you write in the message field;
  • the date and time of submission.

When you email us, we receive your email address, the content of your message and any attachments, and the usual email metadata.

When you visit the site, our hosting provider automatically processes technical data such as your IP address, browser type and the pages requested, so that the site can be delivered and protected against abuse. Our visitor statistics are collected without cookies and without identifying you (see section 8). The fonts on this site are served from our own server, so your browser does not contact third-party font services.

Please do not send us special category data (for example health information) or information about other people that they have not agreed to share. The form is intended for business contacts, and the site is not directed at anyone under 18.

We do not use your data for automated decision-making or profiling, and we do not add you to a marketing list. If we would ever like to send you news, we will ask first.

04Who receives your data

We do not sell or rent personal data. We share it only with service providers who process it on our behalf under a written data processing agreement:

  • Google (Google Ireland Limited, with Google LLC as sub-processor): the spreadsheet where enquiries are stored, and enquiry notifications.
  • Our business email provider: sending and receiving correspondence.
  • Vercel Inc.: website hosting, delivery and cookieless visitor statistics.

We may also share data with professional advisers (such as lawyers or accountants) under a duty of confidentiality, with a brand or channel partner where you have asked us to make an introduction, or with public authorities where the law requires it.

05International transfers

Some of our providers, and members of our team, process data outside the European Economic Area, including in the United States and Hong Kong. Where this happens we rely on one of the safeguards the GDPR provides:

  • the EU–US Data Privacy Framework, for US providers certified under it;
  • the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses, together with supplementary measures where needed.

You can ask us for more information about these safeguards using the contact details below.

06How long we keep it

  • Enquiries that do not lead to a partnership: up to 24 months from our last contact, then deleted.
  • Partners and contracts: for the length of the relationship and then six years, in line with limitation periods and tax record-keeping rules.
  • Hosting logs: for the short period set by our hosting provider for security purposes.

If you ask us to delete your enquiry sooner, we will, unless we need to keep it to meet a legal obligation.

07Your rights

Under the GDPR you have the right to:

  • access the personal data we hold about you and receive a copy;
  • rectify data that is inaccurate or incomplete;
  • erase your data where there is no longer a reason to keep it;
  • restrict our use of it while a question about it is resolved;
  • object to processing based on our legitimate interests;
  • portability, receiving data you gave us in a structured, machine-readable format.

To exercise any of these rights, email us at the address in section 11. We may ask you to confirm your identity. We respond within one month, free of charge, unless a request is manifestly unfounded or excessive.

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Data Protection Commission, Ireland’s supervisory authority (www.dataprotection.ie), or with the supervisory authority in the EU country where you live or work. We would appreciate the chance to resolve your concern first.

08Cookies and analytics

This website does not use advertising or tracking cookies, and it does not store anything on your device that requires your consent.

We use Vercel Web Analytics, a cookieless service that counts page views, referring sites, broad country and device type in aggregate. It does not identify individual visitors or follow you across other websites. If we ever introduce cookies that need consent, we will ask you first and update this policy.

09Security

The site is served over an encrypted connection (HTTPS). Enquiry data is stored in a business account protected by two-factor authentication and is accessible only to the people who need it to respond. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we take reasonable technical and organisational measures appropriate to the data we hold.

10Changes to this policy

We may update this policy when our services or the law change. The date at the top shows when it was last revised. If a change materially affects how we use data you have already given us, we will tell you directly.
